Questions about United Airlines trip planner
What does the United Airlines trip planner do?
It plans flights and hotels on points for a trip and keeps the searches, bookings and alerts for that trip in one place. For United, that means your MileagePlus Miles searches sit alongside your hotel plans and alerts.
Can my AI plan a United trip for me?
Yes. Ask Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor to plan a trip on points. It searches, compares and saves the plan to your account.
When should I start planning a United trip?
United award seats release about 337 days before departure. Partner award seats also release about 337 days out, though partner space may release on the partner's earlier window. Because United is in Star Alliance, you can keep both United and partner searches in the same trip and add alerts for dates that have not opened yet.
