Sixt status match: what to know

SIXT ONE replaced the older Sixt Advantage Circle programme in the US from late 2025, and Sixt's help centre now directs status match requests through its partners page. Hotel programmes such as Marriott Bonvoy and Best Western, airline programmes such as Delta SkyMiles and rival rental programmes can be matched; the tier you receive depends on your tier with the other programme. Sixt's matched status runs through the end of the following calendar year, which is about the same as normally earned status. Older guides still describe the Advantage Circle tiers (Gold, Platinum, Titanium), so check which programme a guide is describing.

Region note: SIXT ONE is live in the United States, Canada, Germany, France, the UK, Spain, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Austria, Italy and Belgium, but the match process described here is for sixt.com in the US; other markets may use different partner pages.

SIXT ONE tiers

Tier	What it means for a match
Silver	Base tier on joining SIXT ONE (free).
Gold	Earned with 2,000 or more status points in a calendar year. Adds +10% rental points; matches commonly land here.
Platinum	Earned with 4,000 or more status points. Adds +20% rental points and complimentary upgrades (subject to availability); the highest tier a match reportedly reaches.
Diamond	Earned with 6,000 or more status points. Adds +30% rental points and complimentary upgrades. Reported as not available through a status match.

Which status can you match from?

Eligible car rental programmes: guides report Hertz Five Star and President's Circle, Avis President's Club, National Executive and Executive Elite, Enterprise Gold and Platinum matching to Platinum, and lower tiers matching to Gold (guides conflict on the exact mapping)
Marriott Bonvoy, Accor Live Limitless, Radisson Rewards and Best Western Rewards (for example Best Western Platinum to Gold and Diamond to Platinum, per AwardWallet)
Delta SkyMiles (Gold and Platinum Medallion reported to match to Platinum) and other airline programmes listed on Sixt's partners page

How to apply

Step by step for a Sixt status match

2
Gather proof of your current status: a membership card, an account screenshot or a confirmation email showing your name and tier.
3
Go to sixt.com/partners, choose the programme you hold status with and upload your proof.
4
Wait for Sixt to review it. You will receive a confirmation email with your new SIXT ONE status. AwardWallet reports confirmation within about two weeks.

Requirements and limits

A SIXT ONE (or Sixt) account.
Current status in an eligible car rental, airline or hotel programme at a tier Sixt's partners page maps to a SIXT ONE tier.
Proof of status that shows your name and tier.
Matched status lasts to the end of the following calendar year; after that you need to earn status points to keep it.

Tips to get approved

Matched and earned status both last until the end of the following calendar year, so a match early in the year gives you the longest use of it.
Do not rely on old Advantage Circle mapping charts. Check Sixt's partners page for the current programme list.
If you do not have status elsewhere, earning Gold takes 2,000 status points. Platinum and Diamond need 4,000 and 6,000 and are where complimentary upgrades begin.
AwardWallet reports that Visa Infinite cards are the only cards that directly grant Sixt status; other premium cards usually do not.
Sixt matches Hertz status, and Hertz also matches Sixt tiers back, so you can move status in either direction between the two.

Sixt status challenge: not available

Sixt has no separate status challenge. The route is the status match (upload proof of status at sixt.com/partners) or earning status points: 2,000 for Gold, 4,000 for Platinum and 6,000 for Diamond in a calendar year.

See the status challenge hub for programs that let you earn status on a trial basis.

Alternatives to a Sixt status match

Match your hotel status

Marriott Bonvoy, Accor and Radisson elites can all be matched to SIXT ONE; the tier depends on your hotel tier.

Match Hertz or Avis status instead

If you hold Avis, Hertz or National status, Sixt is one of several programmes that accept it. Hertz, Enterprise and National all run their own matches.

How do I get a Sixt Platinum status match?

Platinum is the top tier a match reportedly reaches. Use Sixt's partners page and select your programme. Examples that guides report mapping to Platinum include Delta Gold and Platinum Medallion, Hertz Five Star and President's Circle, and Best Western Diamond.

Can I get Sixt Diamond through a status match?
