Delta Air Lines award alerts
Do Delta Air Lines award alerts work on Award Travel Finder?
Award Travel Finder does not offer Delta Air Lines award alerts: the automatic route monitor check skips Delta entirely, so no email will ever fire when SkyMiles seats open. Delta can't be searched directly right now, so the way to find Delta award space is to search SkyTeam partners such as Virgin Atlantic, or to use unified search. Delta releases award seats about 331 days before departure and prices SkyMiles fully dynamically with no published award chart, so check by hand as your date nears that window on a route like Atlanta (ATL) to Los Angeles (LAX).

Ask your AI
“Use unified search to find award seats from Detroit (DTW) to Tokyo (NRT) in Delta One and show the SkyMiles cost.”
“Search Virgin Atlantic award seats from London (LHR) to Los Angeles (LAX) in Upper Class, since Virgin Atlantic is a SkyTeam partner of Delta.”
“I have 120,000 SkyMiles. Show me award flights from Atlanta (ATL) to Los Angeles (LAX) that I can book with that balance.”

Questions about Delta Air Lines award alerts
Can I set an award alert for Delta SkyMiles seats?
No. Route monitors never search Delta Air Lines, so creating one would not produce an email for Delta flights. Automatic monitoring does not cover Delta.
How do I find Delta award space without alerts?
Delta can't be searched directly right now, so search SkyTeam partners like Virgin Atlantic, or use unified search. SkyMiles can be used on SkyTeam partners including Air France, KLM, Korean Air and Virgin Atlantic.
When should I search for Delta award seats?
Delta award seats release about 331 days before departure, and partner award seats release about the same time. Delta pricing is fully dynamic, so mile costs shift by route, date and demand.
Which points can I move into Delta SkyMiles?
Amex Membership Rewards transfers 1:1, Marriott Bonvoy transfers 3:1 and Hilton Honors transfers 10:1. Use the SkyMiles balance slider to hide awards you cannot book with your current miles.
