NCL Status Match (2026)

Norwegian Latitudes Rewards

Verified October 13, 2026. Program terms change often, so confirm on the official page before you apply.

Short answer

Norwegian Cruise Line does not publish a status match from other cruise lines. Its official loyalty honoring covers only Latitudes Rewards, Oceania Club and Regent Seven Seas Society, and an NCL executive said in late 2025 that it is not planning a status match.

This is an editorial guide to Norwegian Latitudes Rewards's match policy, not a tracked offer. We do not track a live end date for it.

NCL status match: what to know

Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings lets members of NCL Latitudes Rewards, Oceania Club and Regent Seven Seas Society have their tier honored at the closest corresponding tier on the other two brands, per cruise, for sailings departing from October 15, 2025. The request is not automatic and must be made before sailing. A later report says the program was revised in March 2026 so top-tier members no longer get the most elite perks on the sister lines. Some consumer guides claim NCL will match competitors on request, but we could not verify that from an official source.

Which status can you match from?

NCL Latitudes Rewards, Oceania Club and Regent Seven Seas Society, honored at the closest corresponding tier per cruise.
Not Royal Caribbean, MSC or other competitors. We found no official NCL policy for those.

How to apply

Step by step for a NCL status match

1
For a sister-brand sailing, send the request to the brand you will sail with. NCLH's announcement says requests are not automatic and must be sent at least 10 days before departure.
2
To leave NCL with your status, apply to the other line instead: MSC and Virgin Voyages have reported matches from Latitudes.
3
For an NCL match from another line, ask Latitudes directly and treat any approval as discretionary.

Requirements and limits

The honoring is per cruise, not a permanent status transfer.
A March 2026 revision reportedly limits top-tier perks on sister brands. Check the terms before you book.

Tips to get approved

Do not book an NCL cruise counting on a match from another line. The one official statement we found says none is planned.
Latitudes tiers (Gold, Platinum, Sapphire, Diamond and Ambassador) have been accepted for matches by Virgin Voyages in recent rounds.
